The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) is the newest of 27 Institutes and Centers (ICs) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This Center was established in December 2011 to transform the translational science process so that new treatments and cures for disease can be delivered to patients faster.

The RePORT Expenditures and Results (RePORTER) system is an electronic tool that allows users to search a repository of both intramural and extramural NIH-funded research projects from the past 25 years and access publications (since 1985) and patents resulting from NIH funding.

In addition to NIH-funded research, the system provides access to research supported by

  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  • Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
  • Health Resources and Services Administration
  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

CenterWatch is an online database of current clinical trials worldwide. Its purpose is to match clinical researchers with study volunteers, other researchers, drug information, and grant opportunities.
