This guide provides resources to accompany the Innovation Speaker Series for the University Libraries, 2018-2019.

Please join us on Tuesday, March 12 at 2 PM in Wilson Library's Pleasants Family Assembly Room for the final speaker in the Innovation Speaker Series for the University Libraries. Manoush Zomorodi will deliver a speech followed by a conversation with University Librarian Elaine Westbrooks. A reception will follow.

 Manoush Zomorodi is the author of Bored and Brilliant: How Spacing Out Can Unlock Your Most Productive and Creative Self. She is also the creator and host of the podcasts Note to Self and Zig Zag, as well as co-founder of Stable Genius Productions, a media company that helps people navigate personal and global change.

Making Your Organization More Innovative: Culture and Process view with Arvind Malhotra

Monday, October 29, 2018 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.,  Hitchcock Multipurpose Room, Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History

Arvind Malhorta will help us understand how to build the culture, processes, and structures that can make an organization more innovative. This half-day program will include both a presentation and group exercises for bringing more innovation to our work. 

Arvind Malhorta is the H. Allen Andrew Professor of Entrepreneurial Education and professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill. He teaches and has published extensively on issues of innovation, strategy, social media, and technology.
