You can browse ARTstor collections using a public computer on UNC campus.
In order to download or save content, you will need to register for an ARTstor user account. Access to your account will remain active off-campus so long as you sign-in to ARTstor on campus or through the UNC Library website within 120 days. Everytime you sign-in on campus or through the library's website your account is reset for another 120 days.
Citing images from online collections correctly is an important part of conducting research. Providing credit to the publishers of electronic image will enable future scholars to find the correct source quickly. Creating citations also allows students to critically assess the context in which they discovered the image.
The first step to export citations is to generate, or 'save,' them. You can then export selected image citations or an entire image group’s citation, to be saved outside of ARTstor for future use.
