Occupation Matters:  Thirty Years of Occupational Therapy Education at UNC

The Health Sciences Library (HSL), in collaboration with the University of North Carolina Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy (DOSOT), hosted an exhibition from October 20, 2010, through Summer, 2011, celebrating the 30th anniversary of occupational therapy education at UNC-Chapel Hill. The “Occupation Matters” exhibit honored the work of occupational therapists and occupational scientists, and featured historical photos as well as contemporary images of a number of therapists who are graduates of the Masters of Science(M.S.) in occupational therapy program in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill.

An ongoing companion blog version of the exhibit complements the physical exhibit and has become the permanent online exhibit. It will ultimately include interviews, links to related resources, student research, and a place for alumni and other viewers to share their experiences with the exhibit and the library.
