This sampling of Internet resources for US based organizations is provided for students in health related fields who are interested in pursuing an externship or volunteer experience related to their studies. This list is not intended to be all inclusive; and failure to be listed does not mean a program does not exist. Only hospitals that have a current externship program page on their websites are included. If you do not meet the requirements listed on the website, contact the nurse recruiter personally, as s/he may be flexible. Note that nearly all of the positions listed below are paid.
