Find Print Copies of Journal Articles

Use print edition of journal or Interlibrary Loan to get articles identified from the sources below.

  • Communication Abstracts
    Indexes and abstracts articles in a wide variety of communication disciplines. 4-6 issues per year. Covers articles published 1978-2010. Available in print at the Park and Davis Libraries.

TIP: Retrospective subject and author index for issues 1-60 published in 1984.  

In 1995, title changed to Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, published by the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. Online index available in Communication & Mass Media Complete from 1975-present.


Scanning & Copying Print Materials

Need to copy an article to read later? No problem! At the Park Library, we have a scanner where you can make a PDF to e-mail to yourself (in accordance with the Fair Use Act; we do not condone copyright infringement).

Davis Library has several flatbed scanners, as well as a stand-up scanner.

The Park Library also has a photocopier, which takes expense account funds only.
