Bio
With her background in plant genetics, chemistry, environmental sciences, and public policy, K.T. brings a unique perspective to the Health Sciences Library and the School of Pharmacy that enables her to work in partnership with a very diverse clientele.
Her research interests include technology in education and library services, library instruction and outreach, evolution of libraries, recruitment, retention, and management of academic librarians, information habits of scientists and clinicians.
She is active in the American Society for Information Science & Technology, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and the Medical Library Association. K.T. held an internship at the Environmental Protection Agency RTP Library and a fellowship at North Carolina State University Libraries before coming to the UNC Health Sciences Library in 2003.
