Lauren Tomola, MSLS

Current Position

Lauren works with the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (NC AHEC), serving as an embedded knowledge management librarian for the NC AHEC practice support program. She organizes, creates metadata for, and maintains the practice support program's digital collection of emails and internal documentation on healthcare policy, quality improvement, and electronic health records.

Lauren also works with other outreach services of the Health Sciences Library. She supports the UNC School of Medicine's Technical Assistance Centers for the Rural Residency Planning and Development (RRPD) Program and the Teaching Health Center Planning and Development (THCPD) program.
