Saving to the Server

When working in the MRC, you can save your files to the “Media Storage” server and have access to your work on any computer in the MRC labs and study area computers across the hall form the MRC. The link below explains how to save your work to the server.

Converting Media

Converting Media Tutorials explain the steps to perform the following procedures in the MRC media lab:

Digitize Media - How to digitize Hi-8, Digital-8, VHS-C, or camera footage.

Convert Formats - How to convert various formats into those readable by MRC editing software.

Copy Media - How to copy CDs and DVDs, or copy VHS to DVD.
