What is in this guide?

Welcome to the UNC Music Library! We hope you'll take advantage of this world-class collection for your course work, as study space and for your own musical pleasure. We have over 60,000 sound recordings you can check out as well as streaming audio of thousands more song titles in a wide variety of genres.  UNC also holds over 165,000 books on all types of music. And we have a CCI printer!

Required text on Reserve in Music Library (1st floor of Wilson Library)

A copy of your textbook is available on Course Reserves in the Music Library. Ask for it by call number (ML3502.9.T4613 2002) at the Service Desk. Reserve material can be checked out for 2 hours at a time.

Overnight Reserve: Check out a Reserve book within the last 2 hours we are open and it's due within the first hour we are next open. For example, since the Music Library is closed on Saturdays, you can check it out after 3pm on Friday and it's not due back until 2pm on Sunday!
