Browse by Call Number

  • If you have identified a relevant book, you can search the library catalog for Call Number (LC) using the first letters and digits of the call number (try the digits up to the decimal point).

  • For a more complete browsing experience, use the relevant call number to Browse the Library of Congress Catalog, select Call Numbers (LC Class Number) from the drop down menu.

►UNC library's call numbers will usually correspond to the LC numbers. UNC libraries will not have all of the books available at the LC, but this is a good way to visually browse what might come before and after your book.
