Source : https://observatoire.francophonie.org/qui-parle-francais-dans-le-monde/

A collection of selected links to UNC's libraries and resources for materials on the modern French-speaking world.

Searching the library catalog

  • If you know the author and title you are looking for, search them in the UNC Catalog. If you can not find it here, order it via Interlibrary Loan.
  • If you want to find more literature on the subject, start with a keyword search in the catalog. Once you have located a relevant item, you can look at the Library of Congress Subject Headings with the full record tab and follow those links to find related books.
  • Sample subjects:

"France -- Emigration and immigration"

"African literature (French) -- History and criticism"

"Ethnicity -- French-speaking countries"

"French-speaking countries -- Civilization"

  • You can also refine your results by using the facets on the left side of the screen. If you are looking for online sources only, narrow down your search by clicking the box next to the "available online" facet.
