African Diaspora Fellows Program (ADFP) 2016: Home

Welcome to the research guide for the 2016 African Diaspora Fellows Program! The resources gathered here are designed to support the work of the fellows before, during, and after the workshop.

In this guide, you will find:

  • Links to sources related to African, African American and Afro-Latino Studies
  • Bibliographies of the ADFP presenters' publications
  • Subject bibliographies
  • Resources for teaching the African diaspora
  • TOSH artifacts created by Institute participants

Some of the sources recommended in the research guide are proprietary, subscription resources that require an institutional affiliation. If you are not a UNC affiliate, please be aware that you can still make use of the national interlibrary loan network to borrow books and journal articles in print, from other libraries. Most public libraries and academic libraries are part of the network and librarians will be happy to assist you in initiating the interlibrary loan request.
