If you set this up off campus, the first time you use your laptop or device on the School of Medicine network, you will be prompted to finish the process.
If you go from a School of Medicine building requiring NAC to a non-School of Medicine building and then back to a School of Medicine building, your device may get stuck in a loop that keeps asking you to connect and re-authenticate. If this happens, either reboot your device or try disconnecting from the network and then reconnecting.
UNC will no longer license RefWorks after Summer, 2017; we recommend users transition to another citation manager by then. For help, consult our guide on Switching Citation Managers or request assistance via Ask Us.
For other options, consult our guide on comparing citation managers. We will continue to update this guide as new information is available.

ITS Software Acquisition provides a single, centralized point of contact to find and obtain software on campus. The ITS Software Acquisition office also provides software media to Students, Faculty, Staff and Visiting Scholars. Procedures for obtaining software will vary depending on the license agreement. Software is free or deeply discounted for qualified UNC users.
This site provides you with the latest versions of UNC supported programs and applications. Some applications have special licensing restrictions and can not be downloaded from this site. However, many of these may be found on our Software Acquisition site, above.
The Carolina Veterans Resource Center (CVRC) is the next iteration of the efforts of the Office of the Dean of Students and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to serve and support the Carolina student veteran and military-affiliated student population. The CVRC will serve as a central location for these students to find resources as well as a community to support and aide them during their journey as Tar Heels. The Center provides study space, a lounge, conference rooms, and a lactation room.
From prospective student support, from and to our Red, White, and Carolina Blue Graduation Ceremony, the CVRC will serve as a hub for the support and recognition of our military-affiliated student population throughout their Carolina experience.
