Hannah Burrows, MPH

About Me

Hi, I'm Hannah and I am the Community Outreach and Global Health Librarian at the UNC Health Sciences Library. My path to librarianship has been somewhat unconventional but now I can't imagine doing anything else. After college, I served for several months in Zambia as part of the Peace Corps, which has shaped my life in many ways, including inspiring me to pursue my Masters in Public Health. 

My areas of interest are global health equity, health disparities, social determinants of health, health of Indigenous and Native peoples, One Health, and science/health literacy. 

I am passionate about making science accessible and understandable to all. I strive to promote equity in all of my work and to approach my work with humility and curiosity.
