Note: Library Session February 19th

***We will meet in Room 247 on the 2nd floor of Davis Library, during normal class time on February 19th.  This is the large classroom with ~30 computers and a projector, and a glass wall.  Go up the stairs by the elevators and it will be on your right.

What is in This Guide?

This is a guide to various kinds of sources that are available to labor researchers, sociologists, and political scientists.  It is tailored specifically for your course and the assignments you will complete in the course.

 

This guide contains the following sections, and focuses on online resources.

  • Peer-Review - A discussion of what makes a peer-reviewed source.
  • Journals and Databases - A few particularly relevant journals, and a list of relevant databases.
  • Think Tanks and Advocacy Groups - Links to various labor-related think tanks, worker advocacy groups, and related organizations.
  • Other Tools - Other library resources than can help you in researching and citing.
