Beginning your Search 

Start with a keyword search using "All Fields" in the library catalog. Try different key word combinations in your search.

Once you have located a relevant item, open the full record and look at the subjects to find related sources.

Refining your Search 

Use the options in the left column of the library catalog page to limit your search, for example by:

• Library -- Art Library 
• Resource type --  book 
• Publication year

Requesting Items 

If a book or journal is marked "Available" in the catalog, you can use the blue "Request" button to it request it for pickup at Davis library. 

• Limit your search in the library catalog to resources Available Online. 
• Click on the Online Access, Full Text Available, or Full Text Temporarily Available box to read online

Full Text Temporarily Available (HathiTrust):

• Click on the link and log in using your Onyen and password
• Select "check out" to use the book for 1 hour
• Access will renew automatically at the end of the hour, unless another user requests the same book
