Citation Management
Citation managers are tools that allow you to organize references, annotate PDFs, generate bibliographies, and cite references directly as you write. I have experience using and teaching Lean Library Workspace (Sciwheel), Zotero, and EndNote. I regularly teach workshops on Lean Library Workspace (Sciwheel) and EndNote. I am also happy to meet with you about using Lean Library Workspace (Sciwheel), Zotero, and EndNote individually or as a group.
Covidence
Covidence is a tool that allows you to easily screen references for systematic reviews. You can also complete data extraction and quality assessment using Covidence. This tool can help streamline the screening process. I regularly teach workshops on Covidence. I am also happy to meet with you or your team on how to use Covidence.
About Me
- Hello, my name is Avery, and I am a graduate assistant within the Clinical, Academic and Research Engagement (CARE) department within the Health Sciences Library.
Currently, I am a Master of Public Health student at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, with a concentration in Maternal, Child and Family Health.
My research interests include perinatal and pediatric epidemiology, and teaching/assisting students with their work.
I can be a resource for accessing citation managers such as Lean Library Workspace (Sciwheel) and Endnote, as well as finding scholarly articles through PubMed.
