There's a few ways to search for company profiles. The first way uses the "Company/Organization" lookup tool on the Advanced Search screen. The second way uses filters to narrow a results list from a general search. We'll use Microsoft as a search example.
On the Advanced Search screen, locate the Company/organization search bar below the Publication Date dropdown menu. Type Microsoft into the search bar and press "Enter". Alternately, use the Look up tool next to the search bar to search for a company of interest.
The results list may have hundreds of thousands of hits. Use search filters to narrow your results.
Type "Microsoft" into the first search bar on the Advanced Search page and press "Search" or hit "Enter" on your keyboard. This example search got over 2.2 million results.
On the left side menu, expand the filter "Document Type" and select "More". In the pop up box, scroll until you find the document type "Company Profile." Check the box to include Company Profile documents in your results list.
Next, expand the filter "Company/Organization." Select "Microsoft Corp." This filter eliminates results that may mention Microsoft as a major competitor.
Now, there should be an "Applied Filters" box at the top of the filters menu. The Applied Filters list should have "Company Profile" and "Microsoft Corp."
