Amanda Henley

As Head of Digital Research Services, I lead a team of data and technology experts and oversee the Library Data Services in Davis Library. Our department supports research using geospatial technology, spatial and numeric data, statistics, data visualization, and other digital scholarship methods.  

We provide walk-in assistance, consultations, training, and referrals to other research support providers on campus.  

I am always interested in consulting with researchers, discussing potential collaborations, and hearing from our community ways in which we can improve our services.

I have been a librarian at Carolina since 2002. My background is in geography and geospatial technology. I have a M.A. in geography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in geography from the University of South Carolina.
