The DMPTool is a series of templates to walk researchers through data management plan construction. Although developed by California Digital Library it is customized for UNC to offer campus resources appropriate to each step. Researchers must log in with their Onyen. Plans can be saved online and shared with other researchers.
Developed by UNC Libraries staff, the Toolkit provides templates, sample plans, and guidelines for writing your plan. Other features include online tutorials and workshop recordings, a schedule for brown-bag workshops and a rich set of best practices information for data management basics such as file-naming.
