Known as the "father of flatpicking," Doc Watson transformed the perception of the acoustic guitar in blues, bluegrass, country, folk, and old-time music throughout his decades-long career. The purpose of this LibGuide is to help researchers understand the life and legacy of Doc Watson using the resources available at UNC Chapel Hill Libraries.
