Citation Management

Citation managers are tools that allow you to organize references, annotate PDFs, generate bibliographies, and cite references directly as you write. I have experience using and teaching Lean Library Workspace (Sciwheel), Zotero, and EndNote. I regularly teach workshops on Lean Library Workspace (Sciwheel) and EndNote. I am also happy to meet with you about using Lean Library Workspace (Sciwheel), Zotero, and EndNote individually or as a group.

Covidence

Covidence is a tool that allows you to easily screen references for systematic reviews. You can also complete data extraction and quality assessment using Covidence. This tool can help streamline the screening process. I regularly teach workshops on Covidence. I am also happy to meet with you or your team on how to use Covidence.

About Me

Hi! My name is Emma and I am a Graduate Research Assistant at the Health Sciences Library. I am a second year library science master's student here at UNC. Prior to UNC, I got a B.S. in biomolecular engineering from Santa Clara University, and an M.S. in pharmaceutical science and drug design from the University of Montana. I was drawn to librarianship because I enjoy helping people find resources and  tools that improve and streamline their work. I love seeing different projects and getting to learn new things.
