  • Pro-Choice North Carolina is a statewide organization that works exclusively to protect and advance the reproductive rights of all North Carolinians.
  • Carolina Abortion Fund (CAF) is a 501-c3 nonprofit founded in 2011 that operates a confidential, toll free helpline that provides financial, practical, and emotional support to callers in North and South Carolina trying to access abortion care.
  • ACLU of North Carolina is an American nonprofit organization focused on defending and preserving individual rights and liberties as guaranteed by the Constitution, including abortion rights.

National and International Organizations:

  • The Reproductive Health Access Network is a national movement of primary care clinicians focused on protecting and expanding access to abortion, contraception, and early pregnancy loss care in their communities and across the country. 
  • The Institute for Women's Policy Research conducts rigorous research and disseminates its findings to address the needs of women, promote public dialog, and strengthen families, communities, and societies.
  • SisterSong is a Southern based, national membership organization dedicated to building a network to improve policies surrounding the reproductive lives of marginalized communities.
  • Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization that provides reproductive and sexual healthcare as well as sexual education, nationally and globally.
  • The Guttmacher Institute is a research and policy non-governmental organization that works to expand reproductive rights worldwide.

Amnesty International's Key Facts on Abortion discusses different important facts and statistics involving abortion.

Planned Parenthood's Fact Sheets and Reports page offers information about different aspects of abortion and birth control.

Pew Research Center's Key facts about the abortion debate in America offers a statistical look at the abortion debate. 

The Center for Reproductive Rights' 2022 Annual Report details recent developments surrounding abortion both domestically and internationally, and discusses what the organization has done to promote reproductive rights.
