Here are answers to the basic questions that many people ask about using the HSL building. The description below each link will tell you how to use the HSL web site to find this information again.

Building Hours
The HSL building hours for the next week are displayed on the HSL webpage. Select View All Hours to see the hours for the next month. All of the campus library calendars are shown on this library webpage.

Friends Cafe Hours
The Friends Cafe on the first floor of the HSL is a popular place to meet up over coffee and a snack or to grab some lunch. The Friend's Cafe is open during weekday daytime hours. For other campus food options, see Carolina Dining Services.

Computing, Printing, Scanning
Select the Spaces and Technology tab in the top bar of any library webpage to find this link again.

Reserve a Room and Find Places to Study
Select the Spaces and Technology tab in the top bar of any library webpage to find this link again.

Print Books, Print Journals, and DVDs
Not everything you need is available online! Select Borrow in the top bar and then select Search the Catalog to search for both print and online materials provided by the library.

Maps / Parking / Floorplans
Select Building and Access Information under the building hours to find information on the HSL space.
