  • GREAT place to start-- you can choose your topic (i.e. women artists, Black women artists, queer painters, etc.) and it will provide relevant Wikipedia pages that need citations. Good place to get started and adding lots of citations!

  • Stub-Class Women artists articles
    • A "Stub-Class" article is a very basic description of the topic.
  • Start-Class Women artists articles
    • A "Start-Class" article is developing but still quite incomplete. It may or may not cite adequate reliable sources.
  • C-Class Women artists articles
    • A "C-Class" article is substantial but is still missing important content or contains irrelevant material. The article should have some references to reliable sources, but may still have significant problems or require substantial cleanup.
• WikiProject Women in Green
• Women Artists Stub-pages

  In Wikipedia, a stub-page is listing for a page that has been noted but is still too short to be considered an actual page. All the artists listed have little to no information listed yet so it's a great starting point for brand new articles.

• Women Artists from the Black Lunch Table

  Black Lunch Table's task list is made up of visual artists of the African Diaspora who are under-represented on Wikipedia.

• Wikipedia Women in Red

  This is a list under development of missing articles on women who are (or have been) notable for their work as visual artists who work as painters, sculptors, printmakers, ceramics, fiber artists, installation artists, and other fine arts.

  A stub-page list of Feminism pages if you'd like to do the other side of Art+Feminism

Add citations

Use the Citation Hunter to find articles that need help with finding additional sources. You can do searches for categories of articles that need more citations like "women artists."
