Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon Spring 2024: Getting Started

1. Log in to our Dashboard is where it helps keep track of the fantastic edits that have been made by all of you!

• Wiki Dashboard for A+F Edit-a-Thon

2. Sign up with your own Wikipedia account (instructions below)

3. Read through the Wikipedia guidelines and edit tutorials (instructions below)

4. Go to the Articles to Edit tab to find articles and get editing!

5. Ask staff for any questions that you might have!

How to set up your account

Create a Wikipedia account, if you don’t already have one.

• Go to: www.wikipedia.org

• Select your preferred language

• Click “Create Account” (upper right hand corner of the screen)

  • Usernames are public, visible online, and linked to any edits you make. Your username can be as anonymous — or as personally identifying — as you wish.
