A 'How to Write' Craft Syllabus From Non-White, Non-Cis Writers

by Alex Lockwood--This guide on Lit Hub explores several books and other pieces of writing about writing by people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community and stresses the importance of reading outside of the white male perspective. For those who identify within these communities or just want to expand their horizons, these is a great jumping off point for finding excellent craft writing. The guide includes Lockwood's reviews on writers such as Bell Hooks, Toni Morrison, Zadie Smith, and many others.
