Finding Art Books

  • Select "Art Library" from the Location section of the Refine Your Search menu for the most relevant results.
  • To locate catalogs of art museum holdings, search the library catalog and/or Worldcat (to search beyond UNC) for the name of the museum and the subject keyword "catalogs".  For example: Ackland Art Museum -- Catalogs
  • You can also find museum publications by searching with the name of the museum in the Author field. For example: Ackland Art Museum (with drop down set to "in Author")

  • If the work's artist is unidentified, try searching the culture.
