Drama 488 U.S. Latiné Theatre and Performance: Home

This guide is meant to support students on their semester-long research project.

Getting Started

Welcome to the landing page for research for your final project.  This page includes resources for finding images, texts, and streaming media that you can use to create your multi-layered "archive" of your chosen U.S. Latino Community. Please see the pages to find materials you need. I'd like to call out a couple of particularly helpful resources:

1- International Center for Arts of the Americas online documents. (also on the Finding Images page). Explore over 9,000 Documents of 20th and 21st-century art in Latin America, the Caribbean, and among US Latino communities

2- Latino USA- (also on the Finding Media page). The longest running national Latino news and cultural public radio program

3- The Catalog (Also on Finding Texts page). Subject headings like:

-"Hispanic Americans -- Fiction" ; "American literature -- Hispanic American authors" ;  "Hispanic American authors

4- Check out the Oral Histories Box on the Finding Media page for interviews with U.S. Latinx communities.
