Graduate Funding Information Center/GFIC

• The GFIC is located in Bynum 307 and is part of the Graduate School.
• It is open during normal business hours by appointment only.
• Contact the GFIC at gfic@unc.edu to make an appointment.

The GFIC's Workshop's page provides information about regular sessions they hold to teach graduate and professional students how to find funding. It includes links to the slides and handouts used in the sessions.

The GFIC has some print directories, as does HSL.  For example:

Funding Information Portal
A central repository of resources maintained by the Graduate Funding Information Center and the Office of Research Development that aids UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students in seeking information on funding sources for independent research, collaborative projects, fellowships, program development, and other scholarly activities.
