Using library materials

Your UNC One Card is required to borrow library materials. Different libraries on campus may have different loan periods.

Renewals: Material may be renewed online before the due date from the My Library Accounts page.

Document delivery & interlibrary borrowing: Materials at UNC or our remote storage facility may be requested to be sent to the library most convenient to you. Materials not available at UNC may also be requested.

Using libraries at other institutions: If you need non-UNC items in a more timely fashion, your One Card enables you to borrow materials directly at Duke, North Carolina State University, and any other library at a UNC system school. You may need to register at the main library on each campus before checking out materials. You can search for items at Duke or NCSU at Search TRLN.
