Google Scholar and the library's Articles+ search tool are good starting places. But to search most efficiently and effectively, you should also use subject-specific databases!

Tools for Finding & Managing Literature

ZoteroA free citation management system to collect, manage, cite, and share research. Store citations, highlight and annotate webpages, and collaborate by using groups through Zotero's website. All your citations will be saved to the Zotero server.

UnpaywallBrowser extension that searches for open access versions of articles you may find behind pay walls.

Google ScholarEnables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research. Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web.
