  • Pay particular attention to the sections entitled

  • Identify a least 2 items from the content section and at least 4 items from the functionality section to focus on.

  • Melissa Gross et al offered some critiques of the IL Framework. What do you think is useful about the Framework? What do you feel is missing? 
  • Cook asks: "How can I teach this material to students so that it best facilitates their retention of the information being presented?" What are some of her recommendations? Which of these had you seen before? Which were new to you? 
  • Think about the librarian you just interviewed. Think about how the requests they might receive for instructional sessions. What would they need to know to provide a useful "stand-alone" class session?
