The National Conference of Bar Examiners is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1931. It coordinates the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) and develops the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE). The NCBE website provides access to helpful summaries of bar admission information for specific jurisdictions and provides contact information for state bar admission agencies. If you are planning to take the bar in a state other than North Carolina, this can be a useful resource for basic information about other states' bar examination procedures.
Jurisdiction Information Search (NCBE)
Use this link to find contact information for the various state bar admission agencies. The NCBE provides the physical address, phone number, and website link for each agency. This search feature also provides basic information about each state's bar exam process, but you should always confirm any information obtained from secondary sources with the state bar admission agency directly.
