What is in this guide?
This course research guide/guide is designed to act as a resource for PLAN714: Urban Spatial Structure. This course emphasizes theories and empirical evidence of the contemporary spatial development of metropolitan areas. Within this guide, there are tabs along the top to navigate to pages containing more detailed information about:

Though the guide contains a broad collection of useful information, data, and other resources, it is by no means meant to be comprehensive or exhaustive. You are encouraged to be creative and innovative in the tools, data, and information that you utilize!

Use the 2013 .xls file list of Metropolitan and Micropolitan Statistical Areas as definitions for the MSAs in the assignments.
