Does your web presence need a makeover? Want to perfect your photos in Photoshop? Interested in creating your own podcast? The R.B. House Undergraduate Library offers free workshops each semester to teach you these things and more!

SkillfUL Tech Workshops will be held via Zoom or in person at the Undergraduate Library. We will introduce you to some of the latest digital tools that you can use in class, on the job, or for fun!

Registration is required for all SkillfUL workshops.

Introduction to WordPress

Description: WordPress makes building websites a breeze. We’ll cover the basics of using WordPress on Tarheels.live as well as offer advice on how to add and maintain content on your website.

Creating an academic poster in Adobe InDesign

Description: This session will concentrate on the mechanics of creating an academic poster in InDesign. Learn to create guidelines, set styles, and how to incorporate images into your poster. Knowledge of InDesign is not required, but highly recommended. NOTE: Participants must have access to the latest version of Adobe InDesign via the Adobe Creative Cloud. Writing Effective Generative AI Prompts

Description: Description: Not sure how to get started with generative AI? This online workshop will help you practice writing prompts to get the results you need. Attendees are encouraged to login with their Onyen prior to the workshop at Copilot (click Sign In and then, depending on the prompts, EITHER select “Login with a work or school account” and login with your Onyen OR enter your onyen@ad.unc.edu email address and login with your Onyen).
Note: Copilot works best in the Edge browser.
