What is in this guide?

This guide reviews resources and guidance for incorporating primary sources into educational spaces. Sections will cover information for both K-12 and undergraduate education. After using this guide, teachers will be able to find primary sources as well as finished primary source sets to easily integrate primary sources into classroom learning. Throughout the guide, there are books on teaching with primary sources, generally and on specific topics, that are available through UNC's libraries. There is also guidance on locating primary source material available through Wilson Special Collections Library and information on how to visit the library for instruction and/or using physical primary sources. Information was compiled primarily using UNC libraries, the Library of Congress, and the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center.
