Saving Searches with RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for publishing frequently updated content on a Web site, such as news posts or journal entries. 

  • Save search URL on a feed reader
  • RSS icon will indicate RSS URL      

 ( ) RSS icon

    • EBSCO databases have a RSS icon after you save the search
    • PubMed has a RSS icon after search is run 

 

Saving Searches with Email

  • Sign up for a personal account 
  • Run your search
  • Click Save Search or Email Alert at the top of the page near the search box
  • Save the search
  • Request email update
    • Choose frequency
    • Choose format
    • Ensure that you are receiving the right number of results
  • Save
