Research Methods for History: Home

What is in this guide?

This guide offers advice for everyone from the first time researcher to more advanced library users.  The focus here is for those researching general history, but many pieces of advice will apply to those doing any research in the humanities.  As I work specifically with U.S. and British history, some areas of the guide will reflect that.  Several other librarians are listed on this page as well, providing expertise from a more global perspective.  Please consult their resource pages and guides for more details.
