NC rocks, too! Multiple rock music scenes and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have come out of North Carolina. Most notably, the Chapel Hill music scene has made contributions to folk, indie, punk, and alternative rock music and has produced bands, such as Southern Culture on the Skids, Superchunk, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Ben Folds Five, and many more. These library resources contextualize the music scenes, artists, and scholars of rock music in North Carolina.
Wilson Library Special Collections contains a significant amount of archival materials relating to rock music in North Carolina.
