Welcome!

graphic poster text for wiki art edit

Thank you to the graphic artists in the University Libraries Communications department for creating our promotional imagery for this event!

What's in this Guide?

This Guide provides resources and information to support the Sloane Art Library’s Wiki* Monthly Art Edit event.

The Wiki* Monthly Art Edit is an informal and friendly gathering to edit Wikipedia, Wikimedia, and Wikidata entries related to art. It provides a chance to share tips about editing, to learn about "All Things Wiki*", and to focus on improving art-related content in these important and highly-visible resources.

Event Details

The Wiki* Monthly Art Edit happens on the 3rd Friday of each month, from 2-4pm, at the Sloane Art Library on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

During social distancing, we will hold the Monthly Art Edit as a virtual meeting via videoconference.

No experience is necessary and all are welcome. Feel free to drop in, and stay for as long or as little as you would like.

For more event details and updates, please check out our Facebook Event Page.
