With the passage of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, NIDRR has a new home in the Administration for Community Living within the Department of Health and Human Services as well as a new name—the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR).

Created by the American Geriatrics Society Foundation for Health in Aging and overseen by an editorial board of experts in the field. This website has information on common diseases and disorders that affect older adults. Useful features include the "What to Ask" series that provides tips on how to talk with your doctor to create a care plan that's best for yourself or loved one, and the section on how to handle healthcare decisions and issues.
