This guide accompanies Spring 2020 HIST 179H: Honors American History, Women in the History of UNC-Chapel Hill. This guide is designed to assist researchers in investigating the subject of women at UNC-Chapel Hill. All of the resources included can be found at UNC's Wilson Special Collections Library. This guide does not include all of the material about women at UNC-Chapel Hill in the collection, but is intended to provide good starting points for research.

The organization of this guide into subject areas such as "firsts," "barriers," etc. reflects the organization of the exhibit "Climbing the Hill" curated by the students of History 179H.
