Database Tips : Embase

Embase is a biomedical literature database that UNC subscribes to.
It includes literature in the MEDLINE database, in addition to almost 3,000 other journals and over 11,500 conferences.
It contains citations to journal articles, conference papers and abstracts and reports in biomedicine dating back to 1947.
Embase allows advanced searching of drug literature and medical device literature among its special features. .
Embase has PICO searching and is indexed using Emtree subject headings, similar to the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms in PubMed.
