Before you can create a new guide, you must first complete the LibGuide Training.
When you have identified a need for a new guide, please first contact your department head and the User Experience departments to discuss the audience and purpose of the guide. The User Experience department will work with you to determine the appropriate group for the new guide, as well as making sure the proposed content is not being duplicated elsewhere within our Guide system.
The LibGuide organization system is based on guide groups and guide templates. Each group is defined by its purpose. Within groups, templates are defined to meet functional needs. Guides and templates are defined in depth on the Guide Types and Templates page. If you want help defining the group and template appropriate for your guide, please submit a User Experience help ticket.
