Learning to Use Sciwheel

If you're new to Sciwheel, there are a few ways to learn how to use it. 

  • The Health Sciences Library offers introductory classes on Sciwheel about once a month while university classes are in session. Basic Sciwheel classes are taught on a monthly basis at the Health Sciences Library. View schedule of upcoming classes.  
  • There are many good tutorials on their website and YouTube Channel. There is a Sciwheel playlist that will get you off to a good start.

Sciwheel Support 

Sciwheel Support includes a searchable knowledge base.  This 24/7 online site is also available from within Sciwheel, using the chat help button and clicking on knowledge base. 

You can also email Sciwheel, fill out and submit a support ticket, use the chat bot, or request office hours support from a human.  

NOTE: Sciwheel support is based in the UK, so the office hours are from 8am to 6pm UK time, Monday to Friday.

    • The FAQ Help pages (as opposed to video guides) are meant to answer specific issues that users have asked multiple times. The intention is to find an answer quickly. 
    • The How-To Videos (video guides), as opposed to Help FAQs, are meant to give a high level overview of features, with screen shots. The intention is to give a broader understanding of a feature.
