Sciwheel organizes references into projects. There are three types of projects you can create: private, shared, and subprojects. Private projects are only accessible to the user. Shared projects are useful if you are collaborating with others and wish to share your work, references, notes and citations. Subprojects are stored under larger projects and can be added to either private or shared ones.

You can also create projects directly from the browser extension.
After creating a private or shared project, "click the pencil icon" (which appears when hovering on the project in the left menu) and select "Create subproject" from the dropdown menu. Enter a name and press "Enter", then your subproject will appear under the main project.
