This guide was based on a guide for PhD and Postdoctoral students created by  Barbara Rochen Renner, PhD, Health Sciences Library Liaison, Allied Health Sciences, and Adjunct Professor, Department of Allied Health Sciences, and Gabrielle Scronce, PT, DPT, UNC Human Movement Science PhD student with assistance from Amelea Kim, Graduate Research Assistant, Health Sciences Library, MSLS student, UNC School of Information and Library Science.

HSL Online Guides

HSL has an abundance of online guides that provide thorough and up-to-date information on anything from how to cite your research properly, to general subject research guides related to Allied Health. The HSL guides are a great place to start looking if you have general questions about a topic and can be a good jumping off point for your research topic.

Some things you might not have realized you can check out at the 1st floor User Services Desk:

  • Device chargers (phones, mobiles, laptops)

  • MAC and HDMI dongles
  • Note: checkout periods and whether items must stay at HSL vary.  Ask at the desk for assistance.
