Accounts To Set Up
- OnyenThis will allow you to access UNC wifi, email, databases, and more when you are on or off-campus.
- What's my PID?Your PID is a unique number assigned to you by the university. Look up your PID here.
- UNC Eduroam WifiJoin the UNC Setup network and follow the instructions on this page.
Library accounts
- Borrower's CardThis will allow you to use your OneCard to check out materials from the library.
- Interlibrary LoanThis will allow you to request articles and books from other libraries (including University Libraries).
Database accounts
- PubMed MyNCBI accountThis will allow you to save articles and searches in PubMed. Select "See more 3rd party sign in options" and search for Chapel Hill in order to utilize your Onyen and password for this login.
- CINAHL accountThis will allow you to save articles and searches in CINAHL or other EBSCO databases. Enter the database and click the Sign In link in the upper right corner to begin.
Citation managers
Citation managers can be helpful for collecting and organizing articles from multiple databases. You only need to choose one citation manager.
